Dear Wahoo,
My big ole cat's name is Zeke, short for Ezekiel from the bible. We hoped he wouldn't be like Delilah, but it turns out he's about the same. He's just a big ole tom cat that we got from a friend who had a big litter. He's been the sweetest cat you can imagine but he's been having some kind of problems with not hittin his litterbox like he should (or maybe he's missin it on purpose). That girl Ragdoll Mom said I should take him to the doc, but I just don't see how the doc could train him to hit the litterbox any better than he has since we got him 8 years ago. I'm pretty confused about Ragdoll Mom telling me to take him to the doc. I wrote her a new letter but she didn't write me back.
I also hoped my idea about them cats messin with your dog would help you but it seems they done took away my idea about the gun. I didn't mean anything bad, I was just trying to help if I could. You got any idea why they would take away a perfectly good idea?
I sure wish I could see one of them manxkins kittys your sister has. Zeke would just love a new friend.
There ain't many people on this information place, but all those I've met have been real nice to me. I've still got to put up my little picture over on the left side of the page but I've got to find one first.
Since you live out in the sticks like I do do you ever have problems with racoons foxes or bears? I tell you, those racoons will kill your cat if they can. Derned bears will break into the shed and make a big ole mess.
I sure hope you find something to stop them cats from using your yard as a litterbox and messin with your dog.

| Hey MallyO, It's too bad about Zeke, he's sounds like a lovely kitty. Are you keeping his box really clean? You haven't moved it or anything have you? Sometimes that could cause him to not like it anymore. If you think he might be sick, maybe the vet can give him some pills or something. (I don't think your vet would retrain the old boy)Is he acting normal other than the box problem? I wish I could help you better. Let me know if anything I've suggested rings a bell! As for your idea about the gun- thanks anyway. I do happen to have one exactly for moose hunting but haven't been lucky enough to draw a tag yet. We only put food on the table so it really wouldn't help me much. It's a long way off before she breeds a litter but I'll keep you in mind if she needs a good home for a free runt or something. Yeah, most of the people I've talked with here seem really nice. Sometimes it's hard being the new guy and not knowing who's who or what's what. The Cat Moderator seems really understanding though and helpful too. Naw- we don't have many raccoons or foxes here. We do have griz bears, black bears, mountain lions, wolves and coyotes though- all pretty dangerous to our animals. We keep ours close so we can protect and watch them. It's worth the effort though- I love the wildlife too. Yeah, bears got into our friends cabin up in the mountains once- wow, what a mess! As for the nieghbors many trespassing cats, I just think the best I can do is fence the entire place so my dog can keep them out. I'll put box fence up to hold the dog in but let the cats escape. I'd sure hate to see one get caught so we must hope for the best. I don't want the kitties to get hurt. They make me so mad and frustrated at their owner but I don't hold it against the cats. They don't know any better. I did catch one last night- kind of a siamese looking young tom. Dumber than a box of rocks but awful sweet. I tossed him back across the creek to his own yard. Thanks anyway for trying! Happiness&Joy Wahoo

Dear Wahoo,
I'm real sorry I didn't get to write you a letter yesterday evening but my neighbor in the farm down the road fell off the tractor while she was mowing hay and only her youngest girl was at home so I had to drive her into town to get her leg checked out at the docs. They said she's gonna be fine but shes all bruised up and is real sore. Her husband works a piece away and didn't get home in time to look after her so I've been checking up on her today. She looks pretty bad but will be ok.
You've got grizzly bears at your place? I think I'd be too scared to live anywhere near them bears they are so mean. We've only got black bears here and we have to set the dogs after them sometimes. Last month a couple bears must a been roaming around because our dogs barked all night long and kept us awake. My husband drives a big-rig truck and aint always at home but he was that night and he went out and took a few shots toward the trees. It scared them off for a little bit but they came right back and them derned hounds started up all over again.
We got a real big problem with deers too. They eat all my neighbors corn and that hurts my neighbors real bad because they can't bring in but a few acres out of all they plant.
My Zeke is the only pretty thing around here because so many of these animals are pests. We got the dogs tied out back and if you like hounds they look pretty good. Zekes doing better with his litterbox now so he must have just been ornery about something.

| That's okay MallyO, it sounds like you had more important things to do. I'm glad to hear your neighbor's going to be alright. That's pretty scary. My family farms 3000 acres up north so I know just how dangerous farm accidents can be. She's lucky to have a neighbor like you who's well off enough to have a car to take her to town and be so helpful! It's a nice thing you've done! It's not too bad here because the bears don't come down out of the mountains much. We'll have a problem if we don't get anymore rain soon- natural food sources don't grow so they come down looking for anything they can eat. They like pet food, crops, birdseed, trash and even licking the BBQ grill. (Did you know they're breeding dogs just to repel bears? Karelian Bear Dogs- they just pack up and chase the bears off. They tackle grizzly bears or black bears). Sorry to hear the deer are getting the crops- that sure makes it hard for farmers to get by. You're lucky your DH is a truck driver so he makes money that doesn't depend on a good crop. Hounds are nice. The sounds they make trailing raccoons or mountains lions is like music. I'm happy to know Zeke's little problem has gotten better. Maybe he just ate something he shouldn't have and couldn't make it the box. That happens sometimes. I'm sure he's a beautiful kitty and he's lucky to have someone who loves him so much! Have a GREAT day! Happiness&Joy, Wahoo

Sounds like a money-making "designer" cat - not a purebred. No association recognizes them.
And any "darwf " cat, no matter how cute is not healthy. Cats are small anyway - so breeding a smaller cat is very unwise. I suggest you spay/neuter those cats before you wind up with a lot of health problems.
Just the fact you are selling them at $2000 to "upscale" people, tells me you are not concerned with the health of the cat. You are producing designer cats and that is wrong. You are also messing around with several different mutations (one of them deadly if you don't know genetics) - tailessness, short legs, and hairless.
