| I have recently gotten a kitten. He actually found us. I have noticed that he has be using the litter box, but there are times where he is urinating elsewhere. I'm not sure why he is doing this. I'm not sure if i need to move the litter box or put another one out for him. The only thing is that he is urinating near wires and its a very odd place for me to put another litter box at that spot. If anyone could help me with this problem that would be great.

How old is the kitten? Has he/she been checked out by your vet? Kittens under 8 weeks old will still have some litter pan accidents. If you are giving the kitten free run of the entire house, it may be that he cannot get back to the pan in time. Young kittens either need to be confined to a few rooms or supervised when running around.
I suggest you confine your kitten to one room when you are not watching. Or you can put several litter pans out, especially if you have more then one level. As the kitten gets bigger, you can cut back on the pans. Get some Nature's Miracle odor cleaner and clean up the spots the kitten has used. If you don't, the kitten will return there.
