I guess the reason why they don't give out a prize for each category, is b/c whoever is sponsering the contest like Petco, doesn't want to give out more than 1 First place prize. But an honorable mention would be nice  and how about a chubby cat category!

I, too, would like to know the top vote-getter from each category, even if they didn't win one of the sponsored prizes. After all, Dogchannel posts who "won" each category in their virtual dog show, so it can be done.
