That is just so sad to hear. I dont know what I would do if this happened to any of my cats. You lost 7 of your family members and that just makes me so upset. Ill be parying for all of you that God comfort you in this time of great loss and sorrow.

That is devastating!  I feel very badly that something so tragic could happen to you and to lose so many of your babies.  I don't know if I could handle such a loss all at once.

I lost two kitties a few years ago and it took me several years to come to grips with it.  But to lose so many at once especially in a fire just saddens me that they weren't able to get out safely.  You said one of them did.

I'm glad you were able to retrieve some photos because that would be tragic not having something that you could look at and share.  I've always worried about fires and if I was away and my cats couldn't get out.

I have goosebumps thinking how scared those poor kitties must have been. What a sad & tragic story. I'm sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear of your loss of so many pets at once and in such a terrible way. I really have no idea of how to make it any easier to cope with this.

Hi, Spookers, I am new to cat channel, and I hope that you will still be able to benefit from new responders to your very tragic loss.  Each of your furkids are so very special, and I smiled as you shared each of their personalities with us.  What you and your family endured was an horrific trauma, and it's going to take time to just recover from the event of the fire.  I can only imagine the horror you must be feeling losing seven of your fur kids in this tragedy.  Do not be surprised if you may suffer for awhile from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.  This is perfectly natural.  Have you thought about doing a memorial service for your fur babies?  Or doing a memorial garden or scrapbook?  The bracelet sounds like a beautiful tribute to your furbabies, and I hope by now you have it or will have it soon.  Your surviving furkids will need extra special attention to assure them that everything will be okay, as I'm sure you are already doing.  I hope with all my heart that the fire and rescue personnel who responded to your home were comforting to you.  Please know you are not alone in your journey as you grieve the loss of your precious fur kids.  And please let us know how you're doing.

Peace and blessings,

moon_beam

It has been a year and 4 months. We still miss our babies we lost and will never forget them. I have had the bracelet made it turned out beautifully. We are now up to 10 fur kids again. Some days are still harder than others.  We have gotten the other eight not to be so scared of being inside again winter helped with that. lol, Thanks for the support it has helped quite a bit.
