Hello,
I have been unable to add pictures to my board replies ever since I started on Cat Channel. When I click on the 'Insert Image' icon, it wants a URL location for my pictures. All of my pictures are on my personal computer and do not have an internet URL, so I cannot insert a URL. I have tried copy and pasting the location from my personal computer (C:MyDocuments\Pictures....ect) but that location isn't accepted as a valid URL.
Then I've tried copy and pasting the picture directly into the text box. This does not work either. Right clicking and choosing copy is fine, but when I right click on the text box, the paste option is not highlighted and is grayed out, so I can't use it. CTRL C then CTRL V doesn't work either.
I've also tried dragging and dropping the image, but when my mouse goes over the text box, the black circle with the line through it appears, and the image is unable to be dropped there.
Please help. Thanks.

| You have to post your pictures on an internet site. There are places to post and keep your pictures free on line. What I did was to open a catchannel blog here on cat channel. You can post up to 20 pictures on your cat's site uploading them right from your computer c drive my pictures. Then I just open my blog when I'm on this forum and right click copy -- come to the forum topic you want to post a picture on -- like I want to post pictures right here! So copy and paste:    You can adjust the size of your picture by clicking on it and then pulling the corner out as big as you
want it:

Again, Thanks!I can't understand why you feel comfortable posting your pictures here and not on a hosting site. Anyone can copy any image that is anywhere in Internet. Perhaps you know something I don't know, but I can't understand it. Could you explain please?

I guess it really doesn't make sense if you really think about it. It's more just a personal preference. I thin the calliber of people on this website are far more trusting than those on other sites. Not that that won't stop people from using the picture through something like Google Images. But I guess it's just me. I don't like things like Myspace and Facebook, so other than those two websites, I'm really not sure where else I can put pictures.

| Well, there are lot of sites. You can find them searching "hosting photo". Usually you can upload also videos. In some Forums there are also place for your gallery. Once your photo is uploaded you can put it anywhere. If you like sharing photos I think it's the only answer. I'm registered at photobucket and Imageshack. Only because they where the first I found
