I first want to thank anyone stopping by to read this. I dropped in on my mom and dad the other day and they are total animal lovers but I had noticed that they "treat" their 1 year old kitten/cat with unsalted peanuts.

I am wondering if this is harmful to the cat other than getting a tummy?

Any advice would be appericated and thank you all.

A lot of cats and dogs love peanut butter!  Why not peanuts?  I can't see it doing any harm -- they're unsalted -- a good crunchy snack!

Unless kitty eats a ton of them, I can't even see them giving a tummy ache!

PS one of my cats love cantalope, another loves yougart, corn on the cob, watermelon, my son's cat used to eat Doritos (because he did I think).  I had a dog who LOVED apples!
