| I think the oddest cat would be one that never does strange things. Byakko and Suzaku have the crazy hour. Usually when is evening they begin to run one ofter the other.

I guess the fact that Loki won't eat raw meat qualifies as odd. Pea will beg for raw hamburger, and eat it. Loki will get a piece of raw burger and set it on the floor and walk away from it, but if I give him a cooled piece of cooked burger, he'll gobble it up. And Gabe well he's a bit of a garbage gut- he'll eat anything that doesn't eat him first.

That reminds me of something Cheerio does. She seems to believe that if she does not eat her food when we're in the kitchen, we will eat it instead. She follows anyone heading for the kitchen, runs to the feeder and eats until she's convinced we're not interested. That, mixed with her utter refusal to play, is why she's so fat.

| Nicky likes me to watch her eat. She'll get me to follow her into my room, sit down at the food bowl, turn around to make sure I'm there and then she will start eating. She also complains if I don't let her into the bathroom with me. She'll either follow me right in, or I'll hear her meowing loudly outside the door and will have to let her in. Nicky and Woodstock like to chase their tails sometimes. (which I find funny, because all the dogs my family has had over the years, not one of them chased their tails, but now we have cats that do.) Nicky has also started chasing Woodstock. (after all the times he's chased her) She launches herself from our rocking chair, chases Woodstock through the kitchen, the hall and back to the rocking chair where she started. Then she looks down at Woodstock with what I can only describe as a very smug look! | Suzaku likes hiding behind a corner and waiting for Byakko. When he arrives she hunts him.

| When I moved into my own apartment, Tripod gave me a bad scare. I was in my bedroom unpacking, and all of a sudden I realized she wasn't around. I looked for her, couldn't find her. I panicked. I went to the office asking the manager if she'd seen her. She had her son help me look for her,I thought she'd gotten outside. I went back into my apartment, and was looking in the kitchen when I finally noticed a hole in the cabinet at floor level. I opened the cabinet under the sink, using a flashlight, and suddenly noticed a space between the back of the cabinet and the adjoining cabinet--there was Tripod! I pulled her out, told her she was a naughty girl for scaring me like that, and took her to the office to show her to the manager and her son. The manager followed me back to the apartment so I could show her the hole. She didn't know it was there! It was repaired a day or two later. But there were a few times while we were there that Tripod jumped up on the countertop and tried to walk across the stovetop (I got her off--it wasn't in use, fortunately), and a few times I'd come into the kitchen to see an upper cupboard door ajar ever so slightly, I'd open it and there she'd be, relaxing in the cupboard! A couple of times she opened the cabinet doors under the kitchen sink and went to the original hidey-hole; I had to keep those doors taped shut the rest of the time we were there. And a few times she jumped up on the vanity in the bathroom to see what I was doing. Of course, she was between the ages of 7 to 11, and was still playful until after her 12th birthday, when she came down with the hyperthyroidism she has now. I wonder if she's getting arthritis, when she lays on top of me lately, she struggles to hang on with her back legs. After all, she's 17 now....

| Joey T. does some pretty cute things. One of the oddest things is that he likes to sit in anyones pants while they are going to the bathroom. It may sound odd but he loves doing it. It's kind of cute because he will reach up and pull them down a little and then crawl in them. Olivers favorite odd thing is chewing on my fingers. Every morning when I wake up then he'll just nibble at them. He's done this for years.
