this day is the day i would like everyone to spend some expanded time with your cat. give it some extra love and time. this day is also memorial for the beloved cats that pass the rainbow bridge. all these cats should be remembered. my cat at young age was recently eaten by a cyote. god bless all those cats out there.:ermm:

In this class Carol Wilbourne will demonstrate her methods of addressing cats "issues" to nip in the bud or resolve problems in the human-companion animal relationship. We will move more deeply into understanding and addressing the underlying problems that produce "annoying" symptoms in the first place. The final evening will feature several guests, including the publisher of New York Tails Magazine who will give tips on how to get cat anecdotes published.

The Metro Cat Action Team (MCAT) is a local program of Alley Cat Allies, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping feral cats by reforming ineffective, inhumane animal control polices and providing resources for thousands of individuals and organizations who care for these cats.

The Feral Cat Clinic is held the third Sunday of every month. The clinics offer no-cost spay/neuter for cats and vaccinations by appointment only. Cats are de-wormed and groomed for fleas and ticks. Feral cats are eartipped for identification. Alley Cat Allies also offers training on how to humanely trap feral cats and lends humane box traps to the public.

Where: Centreville, VA (targeting Fairfax and Alexandria)
