One litterbox for every cat plus one? or if because it flushes and cleans the litter after every use, it negates it?Sat, 19 Jul 2008 10:43:30 GMTPeaLoki&Gabehttp://board.catchannel.com/Topic36112-24-1.aspxI've never tried the Genie -- I've tried plenty of others -- they work fine at first and then they get dirty - smelly hard to clean and put back together, malfunction, etc...... and in my experience, nothing beats the plain old litter box with clumping litter. I scoop the litter boxes out every morning.</P><P>I have 4 cats with 2 litter boxes "going" at all times and I have 2 spares. </P><P>I switch them out every couple of months with clean ones. I soak the "dirty" ones in the basement washtubs with dish soap, a little vinegar and a few drops of bleach.
