You would be surprised at all of the posts on this site about kittens going on the bed! I have a big rabbit cage that I keep in the living room when I have a kitten. A small litter box, food and water fit right in. I keep the kitten confined when I cannot be right with it. They catch on quick and in no time they are going down to the basement to use the kitty facilities. Or she might not like liners---my cats hate them. Try using the disposable boxes for a while---they're not as deep as regular boxes, and she might need that until she gets a bit bigger. I also think that kittens should be confined when unsupervised until they have good litterbox habits well established. Usually this happens no younger than 12 weeks of age. A small bathroom is generally a good place to confine her when you can't watch her. A lifetime of good litterbox habits is worth a few weeks of confinement. Also, be sure to spay her when she's around 4 months of age. We had one of those disposable ones temporarily, and she used it all the time, no problems. But then I got her an actual litterbox and tidy cats clay litter with a liner and she was using it fine in the begining. Now she goes pee and poop on the floor, my bed, and in my mom's closet. Her favorite place though is on my sheets and comforter. She will use the litterbox sometimes too. I'm so confused! I might get another disposable one and see if that stops her. So if anyone could help, that would be great!
