They announce the winners once every three months (once every season). Hope that helped!

I, too, would like to know the top vote-getter from each category, even if they didn't win one of the sponsored prizes. After all, Dogchannel posts who "won" each category in their virtual dog show, so it can be done.

I guess the reason why they don't give out a prize for each category, is b/c whoever is sponsering the contest like Petco, doesn't want to give out more than 1 First place prize. But an honorable mention would be nice and how about a chubby cat category!

Cat Moderator: Why is it that they don't post the top vote getter out of each category? I understand that only 3 can get the prizes, but we sure would like to see these.

Thanks, Supercat. There is absolutely noone behind the "Contact Us" emails!. I like you, thought that there would be a winner in each category, so I guess I'll just wait till they post the 3 winners. I have 3 cats

The next contest runs from 7/1 to 9/30/08. I'm not sure when they list the winners from the last contest.

I was disappointed last time because they don't list a "winner" out of each category. They just list the top 3 vote getters - period -- so they list only 3 categories.

I thought it would be fun to see the top vote getter in EACH category, even if they don't win a prize (althought they could get awarded a badge and points????)

That's why I dropped out of being interested in the contest. I really like the forums -- interesting and you learn a whole lot!
