It's the same everywhere... there are to many whole cats at the streets so it's impossible to take all the kittens.

Mercy was ill. Most of the kittens that get a home is because they are ill. The voluntaries that feed them, see the ill kitten and take him, because he would die. So most of the rescued kittens have a health problem. Like Mercy.

He couldn't lift his head, and he would walk in circles.

Now his head uses to be inclined to the right, but he is much better. And he is a lovely one. I wish he finds a good home soon

Awwwwwwww!!!!! Mercy is so cute! It's so sad that he doesn't have a (real, for-life) home! It's so sad! I wish I could own every cat (espechially every homeless cat) in the world! *sigh* But that is NEVER gonna happen. But I stillwish it could! Well, I G2G now! Bye!

Today I have news. There is a kitten at home. He will be here for 2 weeks. His foster family went on holidays nd they couldn't take Mercy, and he couldn't remain alone, so I'm his foster family for 2 weeks.

Weeeeeeell, As we are only a hundred people in Spain... Really, I had found a photo and I know some shows she worked in, but I don't really think I have ever saw her. I don't use to watch the kind of Tv series she worked in. They are made for people a lot younger.

But I'm happy that some of my countrywomen are famous in other countries

I cry a lot reading that messages. And I use to answer. When you are mourning you need feeling other people with you.

I can't understand people that reads and not answer. Is it so difficult saying "I'm sorry"?.

Really in Spain it also happens. Someone doesn't know what to do, many people reads it, and no one says: "take him to the vet", usually thats the answer. Sometimes you don't know "THE ANSWER", but usually you know part of it. Why no one answer? after a month in a Forum you know "the basics", you can give a partial help while someone with more experience appears. But most people don't want to take the effort. Here and in Spain.

No I don't know the origin of the idea! But in the CC pages, there are a lot of cats that are 'in memory' or 'in loving memory' or 'in memory of' or 'angel'. Some of them even say 'Rainbow Bridge kitty(s) _________'. You might want to check out some of them.

You really like abbreviations... Really that's a difference with spanish Forums. We don't use them.

Another differences:

- Everyone has an avatar. Most of them of the cats, some of them an animations showing all the cats (and perhaps a dog). Only people that hadn't an avatar are the newbies, because they don't know how to set it.

- Almost no one has a signature.

- One of the first questions: How can I post a photo?. The scarce boys usually don't ask this. They post their photos right away. Of course the "Insert Image" button ie out of order

- The second one: Hey, my cat doesn't show on my messages and yours do. How do I do it?. The word avatar is unknown to them

- When someone ask about declawing her cat, everyone get very angry. Here is very unusual and illegal. But some vets do it.

- In every Cat or Dog Forum there is always an Adoption Board. People who are looking for a cat post that, and people that want to give a cat also do that. Usually people that works at a shelter show some cats, so more people see them. Or people that has take a cat on the street and can't maintain it. Sometimes people that has discover a cat is hard work and don't want to abandon them so they look for someone to adopt it.

- And in Spain we are less serious...

- Most of us don't have a garden. So we almost don't talk about outside cats. We talk a lot about colonies of feral cats.

- We post many photos and videos

What I find most intriguing es that here we also speak about the Rainbow Bridge. Do you know the origin of that idea?

I would sign for 80 all summer. But of course it's because here is too hot. The poor cats are sleeping all time (and me also)

And it hasn't rain since may...

When I was a girl it used to be a storm every evening. I remeber goig home at the evening so we wouldn't get wet.

But now is getting cooler. It's 23:00 here and ther is a little wind coming through the mosquito netting...

Marena has been at home for a week and a day. It seems like a century. Really she is part of the family now. But my other female is evading her. At first she would go up the wardrobe, now she is on my bed, I hope they will make friends soon.

Today the temperature is only in the 80's here but kitty (and doggie) are both sprawled out in front of the AC. I guess here in New Hampshire 80's is hot. Yesterday we had a horrible storm with a tornado. We get lots of weather here but tornados are very rare. Today it's sunny which is great because we've been having rain for days now. My poor flowers are all beat up.

Really, this afternoon I wrote a post in other Forum asking if they thought my cats were well. Everyone there lives in my city or very near. I was a little worried because they don't move, and don't eat well.

But all cats are reacting the same. Here this temperature in normal in august

Did you now that my brown tabby really is a black tabby? tabbies have the color of their darkest stripes. And for black tabbies the base color use to be orange. Some months ago I didn't know

Do you remember how many celsius degree is a fahrenheit?. Cause here we have 40 Celsius (I think 104 Fahrenheit). If you go out in some places the asphalt is melting and it get stuck in your shoes. I think 95 you can cope with

And is very dry, and the sun gets into your head... Really they don't move (the cats). Now we are in orange alert. So they advise us against going out in the hottest hours.

IDK! It's not incredibly hot here! It's only >sign!< 95 degrees here! And that's not incredibly hot for Sandy! Last year, it got up to 107! It was BURNING & TERRIBLE!!!

Here is so hot the three cats are sleeping all day. They get up only for eating, drinking and... well YOU KNOW, removing the sand. And then they look for another place so they can continue sleeping.

How do you cope with that?

Hello, I should be at my bed (it's 01:33 AM here) but I can't sleep.

Have you ever try blowing a cat's nose? It's really funny. I have to do it many times a day because Marena have a chronic rhinithis. At first it was easy, but now she has get used to us and objects with her paw! (she arrived home last tgursday).

Sometimes we also have to put eyedrops and it's the same.

This week I finish my holidays. I don't want to return to my job! . I return next tuesday . I won't have time for the Forum

Now something very funny happened. Suzaku have been over a wardrobe most time since Marene arrived because she is frightened. But now Marena is over the wardrobe just beside Suzaku's
