We're thinking Turkish Angora...her personality doesn't match breed standards, but I know that doesn't really matter all that much. She doesn't have any papers or anything...does she look like a purebred?

A pretty sad story actually. We were at the shelter and she was there. She was really skinny but she had an odd shaped  belly. We asked the guy that was talking us into adopting her if she was pregnant and he was like "Oh yeah, she is!" As if he forgot to mention that little detail. He then when on to say that we couldn't adopt her- only foster until after her kittens were weaned. We took her home and she got sick right before she had the kittens. We syringe fed her and her kittens for two weeks. She made it, but her kittens, sadly, didn't.

That was a sad story about the kittens but I glad mommy kitty is ok now. I raised a five day old kitten that was left to die. It was touch and go for a long time but she made and now she is a wonderful silver tabby 10 months old.

The face does look a bit like Turkish Angora, but not the body. IMO she's a domestic longhair. Very pretty
