I think it was the brother because it was not you or you would have remembered, not mom as the helped as did sister with the posters. When you told mom the window was open she knew nothing about it. I don't feel that it was the dad usually parents are more responsible than that. Can't figure why sister would be opening the window but maybe. I feel it is the brother, cause it sounds more like a brother to be working in the basement and maybe leave the window open. Just my thought.
