OMG I am sooo sorry for your loss. How awful.....The best advice I've read hear is how God needed them for a lonely child....hold on to the good memories and take comfort in knowing you gave them a loving home. Time willl heal but the heart never forgets. They are no longer in pain or suffering and they are having a wonderful time!!.....The memorial bracelet is a wonderful tribute to your family. Huge hugs to you....

My gosh, what a terrible loss you all have suffered!! I read your post and it brought tears to my eyes. I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to lose my 5 all at once. They're our babies & the loss would be just as devastating as losing our home & everything in it. I'm so very sorry for your loss; unfortunately, words can't convey how badly I feel for you and your family. Just take it one day at a time, cry when you need to, and remember that even though they're gone, they live on in your hearts always. Bless you and furry hugs and prayers to you.

I can't imagine your heartbreak in this tragic event.  I put down my 18 year male yesterday that looks like your Lucky.  I only had one cat and I certainly cant imagine so many at once.  The bracelet is a great idea and much deserved for these kids.  I am in morning now but I do hope you find peace of mind soon.

yours sincerely,

dove

I will always miss my babies & will never forget them. It is getting easier to deal with the grief.

My bracelet turned out wonderfully it seems to make me feel the ones we lost are always with me.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Losing one cat at a time is awful, to lose 7 at a time would be so heartbreaking as to be unbearable. I have just established a website called Angelkittygang.com where I post pictures of cats and dogs that have gone over the Rainbow Bridge. The website is in honor of my old Grandma Kitty Mi Ping #21015 and was co-founded by another kitty named China. The website is free and owners and their friends are free to come visit and post comments about the pets they've lost. If you would like your kitties added to the site, just let me know. I would be happy to have them honored on my website. Kat Lentz katlentz@gmail.com

It has been just about a year from our fire. We are doing better all the time. We still miss & think about our cats every day but we are thankful that we were able to save some of our pictures of them. As well as thankful to the ones we were able to save. I don't think I will ever get over this completely. Thank you all for your support it was very helpful. My bracelet is beautiful & will be cherished always.

Thanks

Dear Spookers,

I am so sorry this happened to you but am glad things are getting better.

You are correct. No matter what the circumstances of the death, you never completely get over the loss of a pet or a human loved one. (I still miss all of my babies who have gone on). However, with the passage of time, the hurt does become less raw.

I have 5 cats and the idea of a house fire is my worst nightmare. Although I have a carrier for each cat. if a fire occurs I probably won't be able to corral them all, get them in their carriers and get them out of the house. Cats are so easily spooked.
