I can't help but see it as a sign of affection too!

Sadie is all over any reading material. It is funny to watch if the both of us is reading the Sunday paper he goes back and forth laying and playing on the papers. It drives him nuts for us to read the paper in peace.

Oh yes, I experience this also, with any kind of reading material. And when I'm on the computer she will poke me with her paw. Yes, I do believe it's an attention seeker.

My girls are just starting to try to stand in front of the monitor when I am at the computer. Baby Faith always tries to step on the keyboard to rub her face on mine. I end up with random characters in my emails... lol

You have to watch those little darlings. I sat down at my computer one day and was greeted with this question on my monitor: "Confirm delete program?" Yikes!!!!!

Yikes! I'm glad that I have a computer desk now that allows me to hide the keyboard by sliding in the tray when I am not there.

Socks will "plop" himself down on our laps no matter what you have in it. Paper, book, it's so funny.

I must agree with you, that it is asign of affection. I can't see to read anymore. but when I was able to read my Winnie and Puka would vie for a place on my chest. They're both good sized cats so I would have to stop and give them the attention they thought they needed at that particular moment. My computer has enlarged letters and such so I can still try to read something. Winnie and Susie have found that if they lay on the keyboard they have my undivided attention, but you know, I wouldn't trade my 3 babies for anything. They keep me company and when I don't feel good thy're always there to comfort me. I hope you'll ecuse the ramblings of an old lady, I'm so glad I found all of you. 3cats, Winnie, Puka and Susie
