| Hi all, We FINALLY got our new kitty (well actually we will get her Saturday as she is going to have her surgery before they will let her go) and I know she is a Ragdoll mix and was wondering if anyone who knows Ragdoll colors can tell me what her color type is? This is a pic of her. We adopted her through a Humane Society and she is 5 months old. She was surrendered by her owners because the wife became allergic to her and she was lucky enough to be "prespoiled" by a nice lady at the humane society before we will even get her. I have seen a lot of Ragdoll pics but her markings really have me stumped as to her color type. Any help would be great as I am just curious as to what she will look like when she gets bigger. Thanks!!

Look at Motzie in my avatar. See similarities? I think your's, like Motzie, is a calico that got all the white. I suspect her colors will come out as she gets older.
Here are two pics of Motzie ...in the first, she is about a year old. In the second, 4 years old. See how the colors came out?

I would call her a Van patterned cat. She looks as though she may be calico as well? Can't tell very well. But my cat is van patterned as well. The van pattern refers to the pattern on a turkish van where the color is only on the head and tail (and small amounts on the rest of the body possibly). There are a lot of breeds or just your run of the mill cats with this coloring. Here is a picture of honey at 3 months, right after I got her.
Your cat is beautiful by the way.

I would say a "washed out" calico. Now that's not the "proper" term, but it gets the point across.

I don't know what color type she is, but she sure is a cutie. In the photo she appears to have blue eyes. If this is true, I bet there is a siamese somewhere in her gene pool.
