| My mother found a kitten about 6 weeks ago and i have been helping her take care of him. he is doing wonderfully and is growing very fast. i was wondering if he was a maine coon. i know he probably isnt a pure one at least, but hes features are very similar. i was wondering if there was any way to tell or if anyone could tell just by a picture.

Its very hard tricky to determine what breeds might be mixed into a kitten. Once kitty becomes a CAT then it is easier.

If you post a picture, we can take a look and guess. I've seen a lot of cats that may have some Maine Coon in the background
