| Looks like a domestic short-haired tabby cat. He's cute!

| Looks like a brown tabby domestic shorthair - no particular breed.

| Thanks! Now what if I wanted to get her a playmate...would it matter what breed it was, or the age or sex or personality...because I think she needs company....so could someone help?!

| I don't think it matters much what breed but I do think it would be 100% easier for her to accept a kitten then a full grown cat. I wouldn't go for a purebred, there are so many free kittens in the paper and from the shelters. Let us know what you get!

| Females tend to be more territorial and take longer to accept a new cat coming in - especially if its another female. So if you want to get another cat, I suggest a laid back younger male (maybe 6-8 months old and neutered) for your best results.
