After my beloved Norwegian Forest Cat Cosmo died I decided not to get another NFC for a variety of reasons. I wanted to get something completely different. After months of research I decided on a Burmese. At the cattery there were two available, a male and a female. The female was the clear winner. She had good eye contact, licked my fingers, and she didn't squirm when I held her. The male had none of these qualities. She fits the breed profile well, but what surprised me is her very docile nature. She seems to actually enjoy claw trimming licking my fingers while I'm doing it. The vet was amazed how easy she was to handle.
I named her Angel because she is one! She keeps me entertained with her acrobatic stunts, things I've never seen a cat do. She even chases my 22 pound Ragdoll around. It's hilarious! She also plays fetch.
Needless to say I have something very special. A wild yet docile cat. I didn't think that combination was possible.

| And when will we see pictures of her? I'm glad you found her, I know you were having some problems locating breeders with available kittens, and I know you'd done your homework before you got her. What a delight to hear how well she's fitting in to your household!

She is sable. I will post pictures as soon as I figure out how to do it. The avatar was easy, but the pictures have got me stumped.
BTW, my avatar is Cosmo.

| I'm sure Angel was for you... You have to find a web site to host your pictures there.

I forgot to mention, she's a VERY picky eater. She will only eat Weruva, Tiki Cat, and Instinct Rabbit. I tried ten or twelve others, all super premium, but she won't eat any of them. I'm glad I have Pooky my Ragdoll. He'll eat anything.
Sorry about the picture thing. I guess you'll have to copy and paste until I figure it out. I don't give up easily!

| I figured your avatar was Cosmo - he was a gorgeous cat! Couldn't get the links you sent to work, my computer's funny sometimes. Guess I'll just have to wait. Jeepers - I never even heard of the foods Angel's eating! Is that what the breeder had been giving her? I'm glad Pooky's more easygoing about what he eats, but if he had been eating something different, be aware that sudden changes in diet can give them diarrhea. Anyway I hope you keep coming back to tell us about their adventures as you enjoy both of them!

When you copy and paste make sure you include the .jpg
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I uploaded them to the server, then clicked on them to make sure they were there, but I couldn't get it in the post. I tried to create links using html tags but that didn't work either. Now I'm out of ideas.
The breeder feeds dry food which I don't believe in. I was feeding Cosmo Hills Prescription Diet which I'm sure shortened his life. I spent months studying feline nutrition and decided cost is no object. They are going to get the best. Weruva is in a class by it self. It's indistinguishable from human food. You could serve this for dinner and no one would know it's cat food!
