| TUESDAY MORNING I FOUND OUR YODA IN THE STREET. HE HAD NEVER CROSSED THE STREET BEFORE, AT LEAST THAT WE EVER SAW. WE HAVE A BIG BACK YARD WITH THIN WOODS THAT THEY ALWAYS PLAYED IN. ANYWAYS, YODA WAS ALWAYS THE FIRST AT THE DOOR TO COME IN. ALL OUR OTHER CATS CAME IN. I WAITED AND WAITED. THERE WAS OUR POOR YODA IN THE STREET. SOMEONE HIT HIM WITH A CAR. HE WAS SUCH A UNIQUE CAT. HE CARRIED AROUND A TEDDY BEAR ON MANY, MANY OCCASIONS; EVEN SLEPT WITH IT. IT'S BEEN THREE DAYS AND I AM STILL SOO UPSET OVER IT. HE WAS SOO BEAUTIFUL AND LOVING. I LEFT HIS PROFILE UP, CHECK IT OUT AND GIVE HIM A VOTE.

| I know what it's like to lose a cat to hit and run. I lost my Katie Kat a year ago and still mourn her and to this day I will make a wide sweep around that spot as I drive by out of respect. The pain is easing up and I'm glad I have pictures and memories of her to get me by.

| Hi, BudGirl, Please permit me to extend to you my sincerest condolences in your loss of Yoda. I know right now there are no words that can adequately comfort you in your sorrow, and no words that will ever explain why Yoda decided to break his noraml routine to go out into the street. And no one will ever be able to properly explain to you why the person who hit your Yoda didn't stop to render assistance. This is a tragic loss to you and your family. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you that you will know that Yoda is not in pain, is not suffering, and is playing with the angels while he waits for you to join him at your appropriate time in heaven's perfect garden. And hopefully in time you will find comfort in the many beautiful memories you have of your life with Yoda which no one and nothing can ever take away from you. Please keep in touch and let us know how you and your family are doing. Peace and blessings, moon_beam

| What you said really helps and I thank you. I just can't go a day without shedding a tear. I keep thinking why didn't that car stop? Then I realize it wouldn't have helped. Yoda would still be gone. I remember the nite before. I was calling one of my other cats in and Yoda jetted out the door. He use to do that on occasion. If he only wouldn't have done that. Yoda's brother, Smokes, was in last nite and I was in bed. He let out a couple of noises that sounded exactly like Yoda. For a brief, very brief second, I thought it was Yoda. Then my heart sunk again. Some people just don't understand that loosing a pet is just as painful as a person. I know with time it will get better, at least I hope it does. I only had him for a short time, he was 14 months old but he managed to give us enough love and attention that we gave him that makes his passing so difficult.

| My Luchi was at home only for 2 months, he died a month ago and sometimes I cry when something reminds me of him. I think it doesn't matter how long you knew him. The heart doesn't know of time, only of love and feelings I have never show Luchi's photos in this Forum. This was my dear one:
