Hello my name is Tiffany and im 14,

I have a beautiful siamese cat names alexa who is very loving and caring. I deff. think you should choose a siamese because they are loyal like dogs and there very smart. Mine is always by my side and even sleeps with me. Alexa has only hissed once in her whole life and that was because my friends dog came chasing after her and she has no claws to defend herself.

So i hope you choose Siame Blue Point

Cats can live to to be 30 or more (rare but it happens) The reason why they don't more often is because most cat food is basically garbage, like eating fast food everyday for the rest of your life. I highly doubt any 100 year old people ate burger king/white castle only from babyhood.

If you can I would feed canned or a premade Raw diet such as Natures variety chicken/turkey. Good canned brands are Innova EVO, Wellness grain free/core.Natures Logic, Instincts. Stay away from dry unless you wil be gone for vast stretches of time..

De clawing isn't good instead train cats to use a scratching post thats tall, rough and stable. If you are ever going be moving to an apartment that requires de clawing I would either re home the cat with a trusted friend , talk to the Landlord about Soft paws or not get a cat in the first place. To learn more about the awful truth of De clawing visit this site www.StopDeclaw.com

I would visit a shelter if possible

There are alot of fancy cat breeds out there to be purchased, but I am in favor of adopting a needy cat from a shelter.

Couldn't agree more.

Most cats drift aimlessly through a set of homes throughout their life spans

same here, we thought we need a purebred, then we made a visit to the shelter and viola....Einstein stole our heart..

And he has the dogs under total controll.

Dogs think their human, Cats know they are .
