Hello everyone, we're launching a new Peer Moderator Program on the CatChannel Forum. A volunteer Peer Moderator will assist the moderator team in keeping an eye on the forum.

Vettechgirl is the Peer Moderator for the CatChannel Forum. She will be helping to keep the CC Forum a friendly environment.

I cannot begin to express what an honor this is. I have to admit, I truly was very shocked to receive the application; but even then, I couldn't help myself from jumping up and down and squealing (and yes, the cats thought I was nuts. They all came out of the wood work and made a circle around me and stared at me with huge eyes and their ears back- I gotta love my babies!)

This means more to me than anyone could probably imagine. This community has become a second family to me. Without your help and support, I don't know how I would have gotten over Leo's death. I always knew this was a place I could come and feel welcomed. Thanks to everyone. I promise I will do my very best to keep our community the safe and pleasant place we all enjoy, and to welcome all those new members who come to join our Cat Clan.
(and the Oscar music begins to play...) Thank you all!

Congrats Vettech! Unless we get a horde of trolls at one time like we did a few weeks ago, may your inbox be unbombarded!

Congratulations Vettechgirl!

As the others have said, a very good choice, and I hope your duties will be smooth.

Hi, Vettechgirl & congratulations. The managers could not have chosen a better person. You and all of the other great people on this forum helped me get through Nefferkitty's illness and death.
I love this forum for loving sympathy, support, information, and, also for the fun things we share about our purr babies.
I really feel that all of you are personal friends.
