I'm sorry if this post is in the wrong board -- just joined CatChannel last night.
Yesterday I went to the Santa Rosa cat show and I was absolutely floored by a long, lovely Turkish Van. Since we're looking to get new cats when we move into the new house in six months or so, I thought I might want to start looking now for a Turkish Van kitten . . . but I can't find any breeders in California!
Can anyone help me?

Too bad you didn't get the info from the person who had the Vans. You can start here looking for breeders - you might wind up having to ship one to you.
I'm getting another Oci - and he's coming from West Virginia (we live in Minnesota).

Cpt. Jack has arrived safe and sound - big brother Charlie keeps a watchful eye

| Here's a link that will give you a listing of many breeders of all kinds of cats: www.breedlist.com. Turkish Vans are a rare breed and this list only has a handful of breeders, but it's a start. Beautiful cats - happy hunting!

We don't have any breeders in California, however, we have a strong group dedicated to finding forever homes for the Turkish Vans. The California group covers literally the western states (New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, California, Oregon and Washington)
Go to this website to see our latest list of Turkish Vans waiting for forever homes. http://www.geocities.com/turkishvanrescue
Or contact me and I'll send you a catalog of our current available Vans.
