I've had my 3 year old male cat since he was a 2 months old. I never really gave much though to what breed he is until now, I know he's not a pure breed but Im curious to hear others opinions.

He's completely grey, and his fur is thick but short. Eyes are yellow most of the time, he's bigger than the average cat, with a stocky build.

personality wise he is lazy, quiet (unless its dinner time) and keeps to himself though is still affectionate. he likes to be petted and scratched, but not held. He doesn't like sitting on peoples laps, but likes being near you. For example if you leave a room he will follow you, and make himself comfortable a few metres away.

he's cautiously friendly to strangers. He is not aggressive but will half-heartedly swipe at you if you annoy him and nips my feet sometimes for fun.

My vet thinks he could be British short hair, but he's face isn't as flat as those guys. anyway I've uploaded some photos for people to assess. Thanks!

He does look like he's got some British Shorthair in him.  Gorgeous fellow!
