| I am interested in adopting a bengal, ragdoll, or munchkin. I live in the very SE part of Nebraska, so a 50 mile radius would be great. I just want one as a pet. I have 4 cats now and lost my persian of 15 years in November. I had a lot of good years with her. If anyone has one they want to adopt out, please let me know. I would prefer a Bengal. Thanks

A good place to post this would be www.thecatsite.com in their forums! If you had posted this a week or two ago, you may have gotten a purebred bengal! I saw a post from a lady who resues cats that was asking around for someone to adopt this gorgeous boy! He may still need a home. Not sure, but thats a good place to ask around.

| If you are willing to ride out to Des Moines or Sioux Falls in October, there are 2 ACFA cats shows being held. I know there will be Bengal breeders there you can talk to. If you want more info on the shows, email me or send me a msg.

Did you email me today (Thurs) about the ACFA shows? If so it went to bulk mail and got deleted by accident. Email me again at goldenswolf@yahoo.com and put "ACFA shows" in the subject line.

| Lalaw - you said you had a Persian. There's a post on here tonight from someone in Kentucky who's trying to place a 2-year-old Himalayan, and from what I understand a Himalayan is a Persian with a pointed pattern. I know your shortlist of breeds did not include Persian/Himalayan, and the Himmie may not be close enough to you but wanted to call this post to your attention just in case!

That Himmi cat that needs a home sounds really nice. The owner's friend (forgive me if I'm wrong!) put a post about her with her e-mail somewhere in these forums. May be worth asking about if you're near KY.
