I know she is most likely not pure bred -

This is KiKi, who is 1  1/2 years old.  Her eyes are amber but sometimes look green.

Here is KiKi's back with the red spot on her shoulder and one can barely see the white on the  tip of her tail.  She has very soft silky fur (which seems to be one layer) and has a long straight nose.   She loves to have her stomach rubbed.

Here is KiKi on her feet walking:

Here is KiKi's profile:

I'm not a cat expert in the least, but it sure looks like a Maine Coon mixed with something else...

My sister and I think she has Van-like markings with the "Mark of Allah" on her shoulder.  Do a lot of breeds have Van-like markings?  Do Maine Coons have Van-like markings?  I know she is not a Van as they are so rare.  I guess she is most likely a DLH with possible Van-like markings.

Thanks!

Mhilda

well, the markings kind of remind me of a Turkish Van, and that's what I thought at first glance of the first picture. Maybe it's a Maine Coon/Turkish Van mix, or something similar

The color is a calico, the pattern is "Van" markings. She could have Maine Coon or Turkish Van in the background. But she would be considered a domestic longhair cat without a pedigree/registration papers.

Cpt. Jack has arrived safe and sound - big brother Charlie keeps a watchful eye
