My Pea kitty was recently diagnosed with EGD, which is basically a skin allergy, the vet gave her a shot of steroids and an antibiotic, is there anything I can do for her ay home that will take some of the itchiness away between shots?

My cats own my house they just permit me to live there.

I know this is a little vague but if you have any really good pet shops maybe have a look around their medicated shampoo area and such - my grandmother would get a powder from the pet store for her cat that had something similar (not as serious) and just brush it through his fur to relieve a reaction he had from being in our hay shed. It would subside the itching if it was brushed through his fur to the skin and it was very very fine.

Im sorry I cant tell you any more as I have no idea what it was - I was too young.

I hope this helps some.
