| Anyone else notice that the Savannah featured on the cover of Cat Fancy issue for August 2009, has a severe infestation of earmites? As much as these cats cost, it seems like the breeder could afford to have it treated by a vet. Why in heaven sakes, would Cat Fancy choose such a photo, for it's cover photo?

Wow, glad you mentioned it; I would not have noticed it! Really odd!
I have a question: I am new and cannot for the life of me figure out how to start a new post. I have tons of questions but cannot ask. Is there some trick to starting a new post?

| They didn't look like ear mites to me...it just looks like the dark coloration of the cats ears. I've seen some ear pigments that look blotchy on some cats, so if you were looking at a dark color blotch from a distance, I could see where it might look like ear mites. I definitely don't believe that Cat Fancy would have published it if the cat had ear mites. That's just not how CFA or Cat Fancy magazine work.
