renosteinke (7/7/2009) I can imagine the directions .... "Now you TEASE the chocolate mouse ....""...And you can add flavor without adding calories by sprinkling a bit of catnip...very healthy and nutritious!"

Downtown kitty (7/7/2009) She liked me sometimes, but when my little brother and I would argue she would run to you and if she could get there she would put her paw on who ever was making the most noise face. It was kinda like she was saying shh... no yelling. I don't like that. My very first cat Daisy Boy did that. One time I was yelling and he jump on me! Also one Thanksgiving was celebrated at my home and no one was paying attention to Daisy Boy because he never got in much trouble but one minutes he was walking around, trying not to get stepped on, the next minutes he had got on the table and got a turkey leg. He carried that leg around the house while I tried to catch him!

"The really great thing about cats is their endless variety. One can pick a cat to fit any kind of decor, color scheme, income, personality, mood. But under the fur, whatever color it may be, there still lies, essentially unchanged, one of the world's free souls." Eric Gurnery

Ah, yes, the great food thieving stories!! My brother-in-law made the most delicious stuffed cabbage, nice big pieces of cabbage stuffed with a meat and rice mixture - wow they were good! Well, one day as he was making them he was lining them up on the counter until they were ready to be cooked. My Chester, who was only about 16 weeks old, was very interested and sat watching my brother-in-law, until he turned his back for two seconds. My sister and I were sitting in the living room watching tv when we heard a big commotion and then, there was Chester dragging a stuffed cabbage that was as big as he was through the kitchen and down the hall. We were finally able to catch him - only after we all stopped laughing!

MiniBeast (7/8/2009)
Sadie loves popcorn and so do I so I eat it very often. Sadie knows the sound of popcorn popping and will wake up to join me on the couch. Since I am not the biggest sharer she has to steal popcorn most of the time. I will be stuffing popcorn in my mouth and Sadie will jump at the chance for a free piece. One time she actually jumped in the popcorn bowl. Oh gosh, I don't mean to be hogging this thread but y'all all keep reminding me of more stories! Phillip has actually taught Harley (the big white cat below) to eat popcorn. Like you, Minibeast, Phillip loves popcorn and eats it often. Harley even knows the sound of Phillip pouring the unpopped corn into the pot and starts dancing around meowing with excitement! So then of course Phillip has to make sure he doesn't butter all of the popcorn so he can share with Harley (I don't let him give Harley the buttered corn 'cause I don't want Harley to get fat.).

Downtown kitty, I absolutely LOVED your story because the first time I heard the word 'chalking' I took it the wrong way as well
