How can you tell about how old a kitten is just by looking at it?

This is my cat, Ebony. She is one year old. She is the best cat in the whole world!

Your cat frrom these pictures looks about 3 to 4 months old.

A one month old kitten would be small and fuzzy. Here is a couple pics of a one month old kitten.

Or this

(This was my kitten, Sadie, at about one month. Sorry that it's not closer up.)

One month old kittens have very short tails because they don't start growing for another few weeks. Also one month old kittens have blue eyes because they have recently opened.

There's also a different look about their eyes - I can't describe it but their eyes don't look the same as an older kitten or an adult.  They start losing their "kitten-eyes" look at about 3 months.

Kittens open their eyes somewhere between 1-2 weeks and start developing teeth at 2 weeks.  One-month-old kittens still wobble a bit when they walk.

Here's a picture of my cat, Ebony, when we first found her. She was starving when we found her. I thought that she was about a month old, but I'm not sure.

No, that's a pic of my cat, Ebony, when I first found her. She was sooo tiny and she was starving. She is a year old now. That is a picture from last August. I'll have to post some new pics of her. She's really healthy now!

I think that the other stray kitten that I just found may be slightly bigger than Ebony when she was little. It's kind of hard to tell because I've only seen it once and it was laying on its stomach. Its fur is still spiky.
