My Tundra is bipolar with his biting too. He is usually very sweet but every now and then he just spins around and bites you. I just chalk it up to him deciding he doesn't want bothered. You have to be very cautious though-cat bites get infected very easily. My dad has Chrones disease and Tundra bit him. He washed his wound but 2 days later his whole hand swelled and he ended up at the doctors and spending a month on antibiotics. If your cat breaks your skin biting be sure to wash it out with antibacterial soap and peroxide.
Life without cats is boring! My family pictures http://cu.morningjournalnews.com/pages/user_detail.php?user=144341

I took buttons in for a check up with the vet!!! The vet told me she was a little jealous of pepper, they said she would be fine. They told me to give her a little extra attention, until she was use to having pepper around!! She is a very healthy kitty!!! She is getting alot better about not biting, she hasn't bitten for a couple weeks!! Hopefully she is getting used to having pepper around!!

I am sure she will, Buttons seems like a social cat and would have no trouble adapting sooner or later.

"The really great thing about cats is their endless variety. One can pick a cat to fit any kind of decor, color scheme, income, personality, mood. But under the fur, whatever color it may be, there still lies, essentially unchanged, one of the world's free souls." Eric Gurnery

Coco and Sadie are very glad that we got a cold front! They have been so energetic and playful! It is so cute to watch them romp outside together.

Throughout all of this, no one mentioned the idea of over stimulation. It doesn't sound like that's why your cat was biting, but it's something to be aware of at all times. Some cats just get overstimulated easily and they will release their extra 'energy' as bites. However, most of the time there are warning signs, like the cat will start to slowly lick you, and then start slow biting.
Be careful with cat bites! If the cat makes you bleed, go to a doctor immediately and get some antibiotics. Don't take any chances, cats have very dirty mouths.
