Our attempt to get her to the vet this morning ( for routine checkup and fecal exam)was aborted after she bit and scratched my husband several times when he tried to put her in the carier. When we got back home ( the dog had an appt), she was curled up in the carrier! It was traumatic for both of them. I am afraid this will set back her adjustment to our home. I will bring her fecal specimen to the vet later this week to find out if she is free of internal parasites but if she needs worming, the problem getting her into the carrier will surely be there to be addressed again. Any suggestions?

I agree with cat dolls, also try putting cat nip in the carrier, that's how I get my cats in.

"The really great thing about cats is their endless variety. One can pick a cat to fit any kind of decor, color scheme, income, personality, mood. But under the fur, whatever color it may be, there still lies, essentially unchanged, one of the world's free souls." Eric Gurnery
