| Is this Bella we are talking about?? So it's not quite time yet? Or do you have another cat-baby? The best way I've found to do liquid medications is to put the syringe into the side of the mouth and tickle the throat. Sometimes you can inject into some wet food but then you have to make sure the cat eats all the food, and sick cats don't always eat well.

when Einstein is on his antibiotics, which comes in that form, we grab him by the neck, so he goes limp, and really fast put the dropper in his mouth and release.
Then we hold him and scratch his neck, it is a lot harder then giving meds to a dog, but hey, we are talking cat here.
Dogs think their human, Cats know they are .

Does your vet offer flavored medications, like making the medicine compounded to taste like chicken or beef? You can have your cat's medication compounded into a treat that tastes like the cat's favorite flavor, but there's an extra charge for this. But yeah, dribble it into the corner of the mouth and stroke the throat to induce him to swallow. If he gets stubborn about swallowing, hold his nostrils shut for two seconds, no more, and the cat will instinctively swallow when you let go of his nostrils.
